Excellent, Ryan! BTW, they have a few new themes, one of which is "Sky Pilot"...like it much better with Firebird, than Mozilla/Netscape, because it can be "reduced" more:FSLO-1055437753-207749.jpg

This is excellent idea GolfProRM.Is it possible to add to this list this link:XFT Enabled buildsThis is not official site but it hosts link to all mirrors of people who build Firebird with XFT enabled for example. For people wwho don't know what XFT is, it is technology to antialias fonts. It is patented technology and Firebird being free without income from users doesn't have money to pay license so legaly can not include antialias support in their browser on Linux. However, you as user can use that technology without fear, the only thing is you have to compile your own browser with XFT support. This is tedious task, especially if you follow and try all nightly builds.Several people stepped up and put up web-pages with nightly builds of Firebird with XFT enabled. They are mostly RPM's easy to install and you will see huge difference in font rendering.Try it, you won't be sorry :)It took me a while to find this thing as I was going nuts over font rendering in Firebird on Linux, now it's Nirvana and it looks much better than in Windows.I believe XFT technology is partly Apple patent and Windows is using modified tecnology but paying license fees to Apple. You didn't think Microsoft invented something good, didn't you? :)

Try using the milestone release with the installer... There isn't any registry use for Firebird (other than default browser and such). If you download the zip file, just extract it to a folder (anywhere you choose) and run the executable file...Shouldn't be too many problems... The installer is nice because it creates icons for you where you choose (but that's the only difference between that and the zip file). :)Hope this helps!

Hey, just found this at the Betanews.com site!Thundertray

Thundertray is a tiny application that allows you to launchand minimize the Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail client from the Windowssystem tray. Changes in Current Version: The new commandline option "noicononshow" (experimental)Properly reduced memory usage of TB when it's hidden
The one reviewer at the time I read it, gave it a 5 star rating! If anyone has tried this already, I would love to hear about how stable this Beta is. I have downloaded it but am a little concerned about using it until I get some info on stability.

Couldn't wait to use Thundertray!Went ahead and followed the instructions (I put a copy of it in the QuickLaunch toolbar and am using it to open Thunderbird). So far it's working great ... will report back in a few days after I have a chance to put it through its paces. But so far it's working great!
