I know !Just installed Mandrake 9.1 and canĀ“t wait for 9.2 to come with the new kernel ! Well it keeps us busy !B) Bruno

actually, reading that article, it seems Kernel enhancements are more high-end server related.  I dont think desktop users will see much difference.I'd be more interested in the new version of KDE since how that works affects most users and most Windows converts. another wish list would be a more uniform and full-featured installation and driver manager.  I've only tried one distro, but hearing people on this forum, each distro has different installation and/or driver issues.

One particular thing I'm interested in, is the kernel taking over the bios..IT will be a great thing to actually c the system directly start with the initialising of  the services..007 :ph34r:
