securitybreach
Arch is one of my favorite GNU/Linux distributions, along with openSUSE and Kubuntu. However, unlike openSUSE or Kubuntu it’s not easy to install Arch Linux. I have created a little guide of my own which I follow whenever I install Arch on any system – and I have done it dozens of times since 2011. I would suggest that you should also open the official wiki of Arch Linux, while you follow this tutorial so you can better understand the wiki. Just understand one thing, there are no shortcuts in Arch Linux – the whole idea behind the distro is that user does understand what they are doing with their system. When I used to be an Ubuntu user, I would freak out if something stopped working, because I was so dependent on GUI tools; I was not exposed to the inner-workings of a Linux system. Ever since I moved to Arch, I now know what to fix, when something goes wrong. It’s akin to when Neo was able to see the code or the Matrix. So without further ado, let’s get started. I have broken this article in several pages so that you deal with one step at a time without getting intimidated by a long page..... http://www.linuxveda...dated-feb-2015/ I linked this tutorial on my old Archlinux installation tutorial and plan on rewriting it soon.
