Bookmem
Just upgraded Mint from 20.2 to 20.3. Then installed latest kernel. Started at 11:24. Finished at 11:37. Try doing that with Windows. 1 1

Cluttermagnet
Coincidentally I just finished downloading Mint 20.3 Mate. Made an image on a thumb drive and then installed to a new 250GB SSD (Crucial MX500). The platform is one of my roughly half dozen Dell Precision T3400 work stations. This is aging hardware circa 2009? Anyway, for me things just went fast and flawlessly in every way. Fast booting machine now. You gotta love Mint... Cluttermagnet
Hmmm- But then, later, I had a "wait a minute" moment with Mint 20.3. It seems they no longer consider it important to include the gimp graphics tool with Mint. Well, I do. "No problem" I said to myself. "I'll fire up synaptic and install it". Nope, synaptic said "I got nothing for you". D'oh! I had to go to an older box with Mint 17 on it to fire up gimp and get my small photo editing job done, then import it back onto 20.3 where I was working. Does anyone know what happened? I consider the dropping of gimp from Mint not to be a minor glitch, personally. Clutter

Cluttermagnet
Oh that was way too easy- is there any way to make it a little harder to do? Thanks Josh... Clutter
