Bookmem
I recently upgraded one of my desktop boxes to a Ryzen 5 3400G CPU/GPU and when I came across CPU-Z as a free download, I decided to try it. One of its features is a benchmark test that allows you to compare your CPU performance. Mine tested as being just a hair better than the Intel i7-4790K, which, of course, doesn't include a GPU and cost about twice as much. abarbarian
There is a linux clone called CPU-X which is pretty similar. https://github.com/X0rg/CPU-X/wiki
securitybreach
I do not about that ryzen processor but I was happy when I moved from an i7 4970k to my Ryzen 2700x

securitybreach
Wait....we care about energy consumption? Me looks over at my HP Z820 server with dual PSUs and dual processors that adds about $40 to my electric bill every month.

Bookmem
1 hour ago, IsacVries said: Hello...as per my knowledge AMD Ryzen 5 3400G CPU is 26% more energy efficient. On the other hand Intel Core i7-4790K microprocessor comes with higher operating frequency than the 3400G CPU. 4.2 vs 4.4 isn't that big of a deal, IMO. Plus, the AMD includes a graphics processor.
