When I click on a notification in that area, as I just did to get here, it takes me directly to the first unread post, which was yours. The Unread Content button/link can be customized, but not matter how I set that up, it still goes to the beginning of the thread, which is annoying as h3ll on threads around here that are 20 pages long.
