Why I'm not concerned about the rise in Linux attacks

Jack Wallen explains why he's not worried that the rise in popularity of the Linux operating system will mean your open source platforms will be vulnerable to attacks.

I've been using Linux for 20yrs and have suffered only one attack in that entire time.  And that was a browser Java Script attack that was easily fixed.

I've been running GNU/LInux for almost 15 years and I've NEVER had any security breaches of any sort. YAY!

Me too. For several years more than 15 IIRC.

I run both Windows and Linux and I've had only one virus attack (Windows 7) in close to 25 years. That was before I set up Malware Bytes Pro. It was one of those "FBI has frozen your data" scareware thingies. I got rid of it in Safe Mode with Hitman Pro.

It was a drive by infection when I wanted to check the weather for a UEFA soccer match in Poland back in 2012. I never have EVER clicked on a dodgy email link.

Never had anything with Linux, but I'm careful there as well.
