Do I remember correctly that the Coronavirus thread was in this forum? I can't find it. Bad enough that the thread got locked, but has it been deleted as well? Due to the controversial topic nature and the WIDE disparity of opinions in the U.S. (and world) at the moment, The Admins (or I should say, one Admin... myself) decided that this discussion had the potential to create anger, divisiveness, stress, etc. for members and staff of Scot's Newsletter Forums. For this reason, and the fact that we try our best to keep conversations at Scot's from drifting out of the "neutral" territories of everyday discourse, I moved the entire thread to an area of the board not visible to regular members. If this has caused you any issues, I regret that, but also hope that you understand the pressures that staff are under here at Scot's to maintain the friendly feel of the forums. As we all know, Scot's is basically a technical forum, and even some of those conversations can get heated; general topics are much more inclined to stray into debate, which we try to avoid here. This is why we have the No Politics - No Religion rule here. Even though, your thread wasn't either of those, it would and could definitely be related to events that are best not breached in this type of forum. I would like to regain access to the thread long enough to capture the many url's that were in it. For me, the thread represents countless hours of research and composing messages. I needed one of those links just the other night. Can you help me accomplish this? I am not at all invested in fighting to have it restored to public view, though I think that would be the right thing to do. I simply want, at this point, to recover laboriously garnered resources, presently lost to me. This was especially a shock to me, as Scor's venue has had a good long run. I assumed, mistakenly, that there would be some permanence to member posts. Thanks, Clutter P.S. Did you guys really think I wouldn't notice?
