securitybreach
Quote nss>=3.51.1-1 and lib32-nss>=3.51.1-1 updates require manual intervention 2020-04-13 - Jan Alexander Steffens The nss and lib32-nss packages prior to version 3.51.1-1 were missing a soname link each. This has been fixed in 3.51.1-1, so the upgrade will need to overwrite the untracked files created by ldconfig. If you get any of these errors Quote nss: /usr/lib/p11-kit-trust.so exists in filesystem lib32-nss: /usr/lib32/p11-kit-trust.so exists in filesystem when updating, use pacman -Syu --overwrite /usr/lib\*/p11-kit-trust.so to perform the upgrade. https://www.archlinux.org/news/nss3511-1-and-lib32-nss3511-1-updates-require-manual-intervention/ 1
abarbarian
Ha I just spent half an hour searching for reasons me wmArchUp dock app did not work correctly and then read this. The dock app did work in that it started to do its thing by opening a terminal and tried to do a normal pacman update but failed due to the above intervention needed. Now that I have run the advisory everything is back to normal. Mind you I can not make a video showing wmArchUp in action as there are no updates at the moment. 1
