OK... Who's NOT Watching the SuperBowl?

Well I see yelling at a tv as a shared insanity. Can you imagine if someone yelled at some other tv show?

I get it if you are at the game but to cheer at home is both stupid and insane. People yelling at a tv is usually a sign that they should be in a mental hospital.

Nah... that's just fanaticism.

I yell at my TV all the time, but it's usually insulting comments about the darn commercials. ;)

Of course, I talk to my cats, too...

A friend of mine bought me a drinking glass that says, "It's NOT drinking alone if the CAT is home." ;)

What's a super bowl? A large serve of soup?

I did watch the Australian Open tennis final last night, well half of it. Very exciting match and I'm not a tennis fan at all.

I never could get into watching other people play games.

Don't watch reality shows either.

I'd rather do something myself.

I started to watch it once in the 70's when I was stuck in a hotel with nothing to do on a week-end ... got bored and bought a paperback.

Didn't watch, absolutely no interest.

Don't remember exactly what I was doing at the time, but it has to have

been better than watching sports. Yawn...

...In which case I'm probably certifiable. I love to yell at the idiots on

TV, especially when politics are being discussed and the idiots are

not of my tribe....

...but does it count for anything that right after the yelling, I like

to detach and have a good belly laugh- at myself? I'm just sayin'...

Well, the good news is that if you can do all those crazy things and then later on laugh about yourself doing them, you're NOT crazy... just a bit weird. ;)

It's OK, though... I talk to inanimate objects (often cussing) like washing machines, coffee makers, etc. I also talk to cats and dead people. The dead people are usually much more responsive than the cats.

Well, the cats can actually listen.

They listen when they hear the crunchies (snacks) bag or sound the tab makes coming off the cat food can, otherwise...

If it's more than a couple of hours after a meal, my cat will frequently come if I call--he's hoping I've had a brain freeze and am going to feed him again. Other than that, he'll raise his head and look at you if you call his name, but he probably won't move unless he's feeling playful.
