ESET caught infected Play store application

I think that this is first time that I have ever found a bad application on the Play store. I only checked it out because of an article talking about it was a good weather app (they listed others as well). I reported it on the Play Store. If you want a weather app for radar, I've been using Storm Radar. Malwarebytes has no problem with it.

I used to use our local station's app but they've tweaked it and it isn't as good as it was so I searched for a replacement.

 

The past 2 years have been the wettest here since records were kept, going back 150 years.

 

We are more concerned about thunderstorms than the highs and lows of temperature.

No, this was on Android. I use Eset on android and the screenshot above is on a phone ;)

 

We do not use a consumer AV. We use Endpoint and Zscaler.
