Update problems Mandrake 10.1

Hi Breach . . . Is this 10.1 community or the Official . . because we might have to tweak your sources if it is the Official. ( For Community there are no updates ) Bruno

Hi BreachGo to the MCC --> Software Management --> Media Management, and remove the update source. Then push the add button, tick the box "security updates" and put in these lines:For the URL:

ftp://ftp.surfnet.nl/pub/os/Linux/distr/Mandrakelinux/official/updates/10.1/main_updates

For the "relative path etc etc"

media_info/synthesis.hdlist.cz

( Note: this time there is NO ../ starting the line like it usually does )Press OK and it should configure the source for you.Then leave the "Media Manager" and go to "Updates" and now it should work okay :"> Bruno

I converted the update-source from '..nluug.... ' to 'ftp.surfnet.nl...' perthis thread and the updates are in process. What would be the other appropriate urpmi sources for MDK 10.1?Tnx

Hi RpizThere are not that many sources yet . . . just because the release is no public yet . . . ;)Also, the "easy urpmi site is down at the moment . . . but I did find 5 though:Contrib:

You do need Contrib ( not club-contrib ) for PLF to work properly BrunoPS: I will make a decent list as soon as more sources are available.
