samba and active directory

using Samba 3.6 on Debian 7, AD is W08r2

share setup is:

[CPA]

comment = home for CPA

browseable = no

writeable = yes

valid users = AF+progr3,,AF+loginu,CPAhere,@AF+CPA_access

path = /mnt/SAC

the users progr3, loginu from the Domain and the local to the machine user CPAhere can access the share just fine from anywhere in the LAN without having to pass in credentials.

However, members of the Domain group CPA_access are unable to use the share unless they enter in their user name and password first at the prompt for credentials.

Can anyone explain what is going on and how to give group members ease of LAN access ?
