sunrat Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 So plugging in those pesky USB keys has got too hard for you? Try a wireless flash drive from SanDisk - http://www.sandisk.com/connect/ Two different configurations that can stream to multiple devices and offer up to 8 hours streaming. A good rundown is at Computerworld - http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9240944/SanDisk_unveils_wireless_flash_drives_that_hold_up_to_64GB 1 Quote
Guest LilBambi Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 They offer up to eight simultaneous device connections and three media streams, and support separate streams of 720p video content at 2MB/sec to three or five devices concurrently (for the Flash Drive and Media Drive, respectively). I wouldn't have thought it could do so many simultaneous connections and streams. Quote
abarbarian Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 The SanDisk Connect Wireless Flash Drive is available in 16GB or 32GB capacities for $49.99 and $59.99, All things considered that is a very decent price for such a neat and handy gadget. Quote
ebrke Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Movies, music, photos and documents can be loaded onto the wireless drives by simply dragging and dropping the files, which can then be accessed via the SanDisk Connect apps. Those apps are available for download from the App Store, Google Play Store and the Amazon Appstore for Android. Access your files via SanDisk Connect apps . . . seems to rule out linux. :'( Quote
