abarbarian
http://www.everydaylinuxuser.com/2013/01/everyday-linux-user-review-of-manjaro.html The boot time is very impressive. I have been using the system for a number of days now and it consistently boots up within 10 to 15 seconds. I like the sound of this os and intend giving it a run at some stage. http://manjaro.org/ Arch BSD: Arch Linux Atop The FreeBSD Kernel http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTI4MTk There are some brave folk around. Looks an interesting project.

securitybreach
Just remember that Manjaro is not Archlinux nor does it use the Arch repos: Manjaro Linux: A Follow-Up BTW, the author Allan McRae is one of the main Arch developers and is the maintainer of Pacman/toolkit. abarbarian
They keep cropping up ! Look at this fine effort, Starch Linux: OpenBSD Atop Arch's Linux Kernel http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTI4MzI
securitybreach
They keep cropping up ! Look at this fine effort, http://www.phoronix....item&px=MTI4MzI They sound like some neat projects to play with but what is the point? 90% of the Arch packages are not even available on Starch or ArchBSD. https://github.com/Amzo/ArchBSD https://github.com/S...ux/starch-ports I applaud the authors' work but to me, they just seem like Frankenstein distros with no real point or direction.
