Guest LilBambi Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Reports surface on issues with recent iOS 6.0.2 update for iPhone 5 and iPad mini - ZDNet Several discussion boards and Apple-centric sites report a potential battery issue with the recently-released iOS 6.0.2 update. Users report reduced battery life, even when not using their iOS device. In addition, Apple appears to be working on it, and has removed the online Support Note for the update, a frequent sign that an update to an update will be forthcoming. Not that iOS 6.0.2 update page had said much, other than it targeted a “bug that could impact Wi-Fi” on the iPhone 5 and iPad mini. According to a detailed post on TidBITS, the problem with the WiFi fix update appears to be with WiFi. Quote

Peachy Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Hmm, I'm running iOS 6.0.1 on my iPod Touch 4th Generation and it's WiFi has been flaky for the past couple of weeks. I have to say I knew it was the update as my son has also been experiencing the same issues. It's not our access point because my Touch is also flaky at work. Phil Quote
Guest LilBambi Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Figures! I have not experienced problems with that from my iPhone 4S, but I also got an update to from my carrier (I assume Verizon, it came through iTunes while connected to iTunes) that may have fixed that in the last couple weeks.
