Guest LilBambi
Gadgets are great!BUT, they can be abused by web-based malware! So be aware of that!A recent situation that was due to hitting a website that was somehow compromised was experienced by a client. Malwarebytes Antimalware got the malware, but all his gadgets turned black. Others are just calling Gadgets buggy. However, there was a fix for the Black Gadget issue, and it was available on the Windows Seven Forum through a search on Google search:Gadget Black Error

Tushman
Gadgets are great!BUT, they can be abused by web-based malware! So be aware of that! That is one of the reasons why I avoid using gadgets made by 3rd party vendors. The only ones I trust implicitly and use on my system are the ones on MS's website or the ones that come with Windows 7. Somewhat similar analogy when using "apps" on Facebook (yik...puke...ack ack...cough) or iPhone. Not so much for malware but, more related to privacy issues and lack of transparency.
