Hi NoonI would try to replace this line:

color header cyan black ^ (From|subject) : #Important headers

With these 2:

color header	  cyan black ^From:color header	 cyan black ^Subject:

Or maybe just removing the space between ) and : would do the trick also. Bruno

how do i send email now from my machine in the default Muttrc file.........it has sendmail set......but when i try to send email it never reaches the destination.

Did you configure sendmail ??I think to remember I used postfix for sending mail . . .. have a read here:http://mutt.blackfish.org.uk/sending/ Bruno
