genegold Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I just noticed a (hidden) MSOCache folder with 178mb on my main hard drive. I don't think it's been there long, but can't say how long. MS says it contains some Office 2003 source files from the installation, which circumvents the need to have the install disk handy (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/825933). The only thing is that I have Office 2000 Pro, not 2003. I tried to use the Windows Disk Cleanup utility to get rid of it, but there was no Office Setup Files item listed among the Files to Delete. Not sure what to make of this or if I can just delete manually. Any one have experience with this matter? Thanks. Quote
b2cm Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I do. I just delete the folder. Just in case, some Office features need to be installed, just pop-in the CD and browse to the *.msi required for the installation. Quote
