havnblast Posted July 12, 2003 Share Posted July 12, 2003 Something to take note for all IPB forums It has come to our attention today that there is currently a vunerability in the "ipchat.php" file.The vunerability affects everyone regardless of whether you actually use IPChat or not.We strongly recommend that you immediately download the new ipchat.php file and upload it over the copy on your server (into your root IPB folder where your index.php is). You should not under estimate the importance of this security upgrade.If you do not use IPChat you can safely delete the ipchat.php file from your server.IPB 1.2 Fixed DownloadIPB 1.1.* Fixed DownloadThe main download distribution for 1.2 RC1 has been updated: 18:18 GMT.The main download distribution for 1.1.2 has been updated: 20:44 GMT.My thanks to Martin for bringing this to my attention before releasing the details publicly.
