I am having trouble getting Grub to work . About all I can get it to do is reboot . I have been booting with my floppy for now but I need to get into windows which is on the same HD as linux . I probably can boot off my Windows disk but I would prefer not to .I didn't have any trouble with lilo I could choose between dos ( Windows) and linux but grub just gives me a prompt

GeorgeTry this:From a shell prompt, run the command /sbin/grub-install <location>, where <location> is the location where GRUB should be installed. For example:/sbin/grub-install /dev/hdaFinally, reboot the system. The GRUB graphical boot loader menu should appear.Or have a look Here:D BrunoPS: Well you do know I prefer **** !
