  1. First off I needed to revise this for some of the mistakes so that people will not get the wrong Idea. the Live versions would not install to my VBox from a ISO or from a DVD or USB key.The 2 live versions of Cinnamon and LXde that I tried would boot up and and run fine as a Live distro, but would not install to the Vbox Drive or to the hard drive. Both kept looking for the DVD Drive even though booting from the ISO in Vbox or the Hard drive. They would start to install but could not read from the USB Key or the DVD even though I booted from the USB Key or the DVD. I downloaded the full version 3.6 GB and installed it to the hard disk. No problem. I downloaded it the day it was released and have been using it as my main OS. This is probably the best Version of Debian yet, at least for me. I took my Chrome, Thunderbird, Firefox, Variety, Pysol and most of my Home Directory Folders and copied over to the Debian installation. Everything is working without a hitch so far. I even managed to install F.Lux and Xflux (Night Light) Makes it easy on the eyes during the day and night time. I installed Red Shift, but it would not work. I miss some of the things I had in Mint such as Mints software manager and auto updates. I will attempt to install a Cron job for Stretch to do the same using APT. So far I am pleased with this version of Debian. Much better than previous versions. Another thing that was nice installing the full version, you can choose what Desktops you want to use. I choose cinnamon and lxde. I can choose the one I want at boot. Both work fine for me. This post was edited by me for clarity. on 6-21-17 Mel
