  1. Same symptoms in Win7 this AM. It took me down for 3 hours. Finally restored an Acronis image and all was fine. I'm sure by that time they had the fix in the pipeline. As with Mac, my problem started when I was in Palemoon and stepped away for a few minutes, only to find a script error message on the screen. Then slow as molasses and black screens. I had to do hard shutdowns too. Figured I was somehow infected. Instead I was apparently infected by the very thing that was supposed to thwart infections. All good now.
  2. Security camera footage caught Eric at the liquor store picking up a few last minute essentials before Hurricane Irma hits. (Just kidding, Eric)
  3. Just take the direct link, and add your own BB codes.
  4. It's Penton.com, and they went to a subscription-only model farther back than just two months. Your email addy? They'd sell your mother if they could. customersupport@penton.com
  5. After updating FF ESR told me that WOT was risky and disabled it.
  6. Here's Woody's take on it along with some good comments. https://www.askwoody.com/2016/win7-and-8-1-to-get-cumulative-updates/comment-page-1/#comment-95665
  7. As Liz said, the magic fix changes every month. Check out this page. http://wu.krelay.de/...&cl=article_2_9
