This is the only file that I've experienced this with. It seems like anyone who is using Excel 2003 cannot open this Excel 2000 file. It opens fine in Excel 2000, but when you attempt to open it in Excel 2003 you get the following error message:
"Errors were detected in "filename.xls" but MS Excel was able to open the file by making the repairs listed below...
Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been lost or corrupted."
I have searched MS's KB and Googled this but can't find anything. Do you have any ideas?

The file is not located on a network. I got my copy from a PC that it was working on. That PC has Excel 2000 and mine has Excel 2003. It's not working.
However, someone on another forum suggested opening the file on the Excel 2000 PC, saving it as a web page, than opening that web page on the same PC and saving it as an Excel file. After doing all that he recommended trying to open it in Excel 2003 and I just did it and it seems to have worked. Does that make any sense? It seems kind of bizarre to me.

Yes, it does sound strange, but if it works....... I can't complain.
