I have a Logitech Cordless Access Duo keyboard & mouse combination. The mouse is a ball mouse, not an optical mouse. I would prefer an optical mouse, so: is it possible to purchase *just* a cordless optical mouse that will work with the receiver I have for this set?

im sure it would work fine with the receiver you have, however if you do buy the mouse it comes with a new receiver anywaysJames

Such tough decisions. I feel for you. I am trying to justify buying a new mouse that has the recharger rather than recharging my batteries all the time. With a Logitech cordless duo I am facing a similar decision. By the way, I passed my last cordlessd keyboard and mouse along together to my daughter so I could justify a new combination for myself.

Isn't it funny how things work like that?

OK, update: I found this document...
http://logitech-en-a...cF9wYWdlPTEmcF9I can find tons of listings on eBay of Logitech mice - but, apparently, the sellers don't know what a model number is, and almost noone specifies the model number - some just specify the part number, and others no identifications at all <_<Does anyone know of a list of corresponding Logitech part-numbers and model-numbers?

Turn your mice over. My logitech products have the P/N and M/N on the bottom.

That's not my point. I want to know matching model numbers/part numbers of *other* mice.
