Is there such an extension for FireFox so that I can have that navigational "click"?

How is that extension working for you?I tried it once but found it did everything except generate a navigation sound and the remaining sounds were just plain annoying. At 750k it's a little beefy for something I had to disable 99% of.I don't recall whether you can substitute your own sounds but if you can the IE navigation sound is Windows/Media/XP Start.wav.

Nearly perfectly. It doesn't replicate the IE experience identically, but it's pretty close. MSIE plays the navigation sound for anything that is clicked: URL links, javascript links, favorites links, etc. This Firefox extension only plays a click when Firefox is told to "go to a different location", so the only difference is that it doesn't play on Javascript links and it does play when refreshing a page (which MSIE doesn't do).

It's kind of an obscurely-labelled tool. It's in the "Content" tab by the "content-loadstart" option.

Don't you remember Windows XP's motto is "Yes, You Can" :D B)... Start > Control Panel > Sounds > "Start Navigation"

I'm glad you're happy with it. I think I'll wait a while and I'm sure someone will come out with a leaner extension. All I really wanted was the navigation click and I've been using FB/FF for so long I don't miss it.
