I am not sure if this is the right place for this question but here goes
I have a dell Latitude D600 running Ubuntu 10.10 along side of WinXP Home while running Ubuntu My pointer is so small I have trouble following it and I do not know how to resize it
Also if again this is the right place for it I would like to know which Ubuntu version this machine will run , I tried to install Ubuntu 12.04 but this installation failed so that leaves me with two possibilities Versions 11.04 and 11.10

Go to Gnome Setting and choose a different mouse theme, George. They have a large one in there, usually.

Thanks Eric It was under background themes , Now I have to find out which version of Ubuntu is compatible with my laptop
