"Do you begin to see, then, what kind of world we are creating? It is the exact opposite of the stupid hedonistic Utopias that the old reformers imagined. A world of fear and treachery and torment, a world of trampling and being trampled upon, a world which will grow not less but more merciless as it refines itself. Progress in our world will be progress toward more pain." -George Orwell, 1984

I want mine in the temple, not the arm.

Oh yes, it needs to be USB 3.0.

Nah... seriously. Doesn't the ear seem like a natural USB port? Maybe the belly button, too. It's not being used for anything else. You could say it's a legacy port. Lint could be a problem, though.  ;)

the "ghost in the shell" crew had 4 usb (sorta) ports in the back of their necks. they'd "jack in" to get data or participate in a conversation...

i may have to watch the series and movies again some day... great tightly-written multi-threaded plots!

The ear is not in use for much of anything either. Most folks could give up one and never know there was anything missing for all the attention they pay when supposedly listening.
