Nah... seriously. Doesn't the ear seem like a natural USB port? Maybe the belly button, too. It's not being used for anything else. You could say it's a legacy port. Lint could be a problem, though.

the "ghost in the shell" crew had 4 usb (sorta) ports in the back of their necks. they'd "jack in" to get data or participate in a conversation...
i may have to watch the series and movies again some day... great tightly-written multi-threaded plots!
