Need something a bit beefier than Raspberry Pi? This one looks like it could do serious work, maybe a fully fledged media centre?

There are a couple of other new boards that look interesting in this Computerworld post.

I don't understand that price point. You can get Mini ITX Motherboards for less than $100

 ahh, okay, got it then. I was thrown off by the OS option being only Android.

Most of these devices, from what I've seen, have options other than Android. The Raspberry Pi, however, seems to be the most flexible with OS options.

Android is supported out of the box, but Ubuntu 12.04 (and presumably other ARM-compatible distributions) run just fine.

There are a few optional bits available from the manufacturer site, such as Bluetooth and WiFi modules.

Here's another interesting "developer platform" with dual-core Texas Instruments ARM A9 processors - Pandaboard It was reported on the LAU list to effectively run Qtractor with synth plugins on Ubuntu 12.04 and Fluxbox.
It's been around for a while according to Wikipedia and is rather more expensive than the latest offerings, although it's specs are rather good comparatively.

Looks like a great HTPC or desktop if you don't play the latest games, and reasonable value at $520 for the basic Core i5 model. Efficient too; my graphics card uses about 8 times the power of this whole PC.
