Well I woke early today, which for me is unusual. So I thought what can I do with this unexpected time bonus.
I'll go for a walk in the woods and have a cuppa :breakfast:  and a chat down at the old cabin, mebees even watch the dawn break.
Setting of I thought I heard a voice faintly in the background calling " backup,,,,,,,backup" Strange I thought never heard a bird say "backup" before.
As I carried on through the wood I kept on thinking that I could hear " backup,,,,,,,,,,backup" faintly in the distance. That is a most unusual bird call, must look it up when I get home I thought.
After a while still with " backup,,,backup" tugging at the distant edge of my hearing I saw a cabin. Ah ah I cried out with relife to settle my nerves, as the constant faint nagging "backup,,,,,,,,,backup" was shredding my nerves.
But wait. What is this wooden shack. This is not the cabin I know so well."Backup,,,,,,,backup" grew louder. Where is the comfy Speakeasy(my name for the cafe) with my steaming mug of tea.
"Backup,,,,backup" chatterd away  through the gathering gloom of the encroaching trees like chat chat chat of automatic gunfire. Growing louder and louder "BACKUP,,,,,,,BACKUP" as the gloom deepened and seemed to close in on me. Wraithlike shapes fleetingly glimpsed flitted through the ever encroaching shadows calling out in an tone " backup,,,,,backup" The unearthly noise the swirling deepening gloom was too much.
I turned and ran.
And as I ran blindly out of the wood I could hear "backup,,,,,,backup" and almost feel it snapping at my heels.
Even as I burst into the open and sunlight I could still hear faintly as though form another time and place.
"Backup,,,,,,,,,,backup"

I was once told that the secret to success lies in remembering your mistakes so that you do not repeat them. :teehee:

You will have to blame Temmu for resurrecting this thread
