greets!

am attempting to make windows help (xp and older version) work on win 7
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607

was able to get it to work on my win 7 32 bit install
but
that kb does not work on my win 7 64 bit install

any bright ideas?

Hello,

Just to verify, did you download the 64-bit version of the package from http://download.micr...B917607-x64.msu or the 32-bit version for installation onto the computer running the 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows 7?

i will download the 64 bit version - perhaps i did not when i tried for my 64 bit machine.
