crp
So Belkin sells a lock & cable to secure one's netbook. Reading the product description , Lock down your company notebooks with unique, individual keys and locks for each computer and a master key that opens all the locks they give everybody a master key to open all the locks they sell? so a thief can buy one and then use the master key to unlock other peoples notebooks? ross549
I don't think any lock will stop a determined thief, only a casual one. For example, I locked myself out of the house one day with the keys inside. I ended up calling a locksmith to pick the lock. He said it would be cheaper for him to simply drill out the tumblers and replace the lock than attempt to pick it. Elapsed time: 5 minutes.
