So I clicked on the 'Search' link, and entered in
gnome bloat

system came back with nothing found.

"That's odd" , I thought.

so tried again , with just
gnome

This returned bunches, including "gnome 3 bloat"

Really  icon8.gif , the system can't match up 'gnome bloat' -> 'gnome 3 bloat' ?!?!
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. ~C. S. Lewis

It ain't Google, pal. wink.gif

Seriously, you gotta' be pretty specific when searching with board search engines. Some are better than others. This one here is mediocre. I've learned to just do "scatter gun" searches that give loads of responses and then just sifting through the posts one by one. It ain't efficient, but you eventually find what you're looking for. sad.gif

Yep, Google is a great choice for searching specific to the forums.

I did a search on Google with the following criteria:
CODE
site:forums.scotsnewsletter.com "gnome 3 bloat"

Results came back as follows:

Gnome 3 Bloat - Scot's Newsletter Forums

search really that bad ??? - Scot's Newsletter Forums

etc. and all the balance in the Gnome 3 Bloat topic.
