I hope the judge holds the lawyers and company execs personally responsible for frivolous lawsuits and everyone's time that is wasted.

Tweak it 'til it breaks, then learn how to fix it.

actually, the court will be only to hear the cross complaints of ibm, as sco was found to have no standing in its prior cases.

(doubt ibm will get any money, but it will be good for them to clear their name.)

well, it is and it isn't. There were still items left over when SCO was determined to be full of crock, mostly dealing with IBM's complaints against SCO.
They probably need to do this in order to finish up the bankruptcy process of SCO.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. ~C. S. Lewis
