There are hundreds of thousands of iOS apps, which ones do you use most?

signifies the app is universal. All other are iPhone/iPod Touch apps unless specified

Quora (Free; Requires free website account) - Very easy way to view and interact with Quora (http://www.quora.com/) on the go
Tweetbot ($2.99; Requires free website account) - The best Twitter app there is, especially since the official Twitter app was eviscerated
Netflix (Free; Requires paid subscription) - Netflix on the go, works over 3G. Killer on data if you use it a lot (I have unlimited though). Retina display makes it look good enough for iPhone use
Facebook (Free; Requires free website account) - Access Facebook on the go, upload images, etc. Recently updated to have the Timeline
Flipboard (Free; Free sign-up in app) - Formerly an iPad only app recently turned universal. Great way to view news in a magazine-like format
The Weather Channel (Free; Paid version available for $3.99) - One of the best ways to check the weather. Gives current, hourly, 36 hour and 10 day forecasts. Has radar/maps. (iPad version)
WolframAlpha ($2.99) - Use the powerful "computational knowledge engine" WolframAlpha (http://www.wolframalpha.com) on the go
Path (Free, Free sign-up in app) - Path is a social journal of sorts. You can add a bunch of different things to your path, like thoughts, pictures, check-ins, what you're listening to, and more

Those are all the apps on my home screen (that aren't default apps or probably only useful to me), so they're my most used.

For what it's worth, Flipboard is not universal. The iPhone app cannot add content... only view it from your account.

I also use Hulu Plus... great for catching those TV shows I like.
Klondike forever is a nice klondike solitaire app.
Peggle is a great simple game to play.
My wife plays Words with Friends a LOT.
LimeChat is an excellent and easy to use IRC app.
Ustream and Justin.tv stream video pretty nicely when on wifi. Not as good quality on 3G.
Cropulator is a simple photo cropping app. I think iOS 5 has similar functionality built in.
Radar Scope is an outstanding radar viewer that catches the NOAA NEXRAD feeds, but is a bit pricey at 10.00.
Tuner is a good shoutcast player.
WootWatch watches woot effectively and is free...
iSSH is a good SSH app.
Clocks is a simple clock display app. No ads on that one.
Sat Slide is a satellite slide rule. If you know what that is, you may find it useful.
Handy GPS gives some useful info if you need more than a pulsing blue dot for your location.
The redbox app helps you find nearby movies in Redbox kiosks, as well as reserving them.
Deliveries is a great package tracking tool that is quite intelligent.
Showtimes shows the movies playing at theaters near you.
Run Keeper is an excellent motivational tool for your exercise.
Olive Tree is a comprehensive and easy to use Bible reader with many available translations.
LogMeIn is great for remote access.
Glympse shows people where you are right now, updated live as you go.
the Ebay app is great for selling stuff on ebay quick without the hassle of dealing with ebay's site.

It's universal because there's one app in the app store that works on all iDevices at native resolution. There are frequently differences in iPad and the other versions of apps, even drastic ones.

I haven't used Hulu+ since it requires a subscription and Netflix has been enough for me. But looking on hulu.com I see a lot of content that says "not available for mobile", is there a high rate of that happening?

Some more I use:

Stitcher (Free) - Stream podcasts. Works over 3G.
Camera+ ($1.99) - A nice camera app, reduced effectiveness with iOS 5 camera improvements.
ClearCam ($1.99) - Takes 4 pictures, and finds (creates?) the clearest picture
Instapaper ($4.99, requires free website account) - Another app with the wind taken out of its sails by iOS 5, but still offers some advantages over Safari's Read Later
Evernote (Free; Free account required) - A note taking app, but really it's so much more. A fantastic web app and more
Kindle (Free; Requires Amazon account) - Read kindle books.
AT&T Code Scanner (Free) - Scan QR codes, UPC and Data Matrix bar codes
AT&T Mark the Spot (Free; AT&T only) - Provide feedback on slow/no connection, see recent AT&T infrastructure upgrades
Flight Track ($4.99) - Check flight status, gate number and arrival/departure times, track flights, works internationally
MyRadar (Free) - A weather app that does mapping better than TWC (in my opinion)
Hipmunk Flight and Hotel Search (Free) - Brings the Hipmunk (http://www.hipmunk.com/) experience to your iDevice. Fantastic flight search, good hotel search.
Amazon Deals (Free) - Check Amazon's Deal of the Day and Lightning Deals, push updates

Right. I know what you mean by universal. You just can't use it if you don't have an ipad where you can create the account. I bet that feature will come at some point, but not sure why it is crippled on the iPhone.

I have not noticed anything missing from Hulu+ on the ipad/iphone, but I don't go to the site that often at all. All the stuff I watch I can get on the mobile device just fine.

Google just updated their Gmail app with a persistant login and push notifications. I am going to run it for a week and see how I like it!

Also, I wonder if/when Google will release a Maps app for iOS, since Apple will be going to their own mapping solution.

Apple has released the Podcasts app, which lets you listen to podcasts on the go. It very much resembles Downcast, but with a simpler interface and not quite as many options to configure.

Google has released Chrome for iOS. If you use Chrome on your computer and are sync'd with Google, you can log in to the iOS Chrome and open any tab you have open on your desktop/laptop. Pretty nice, and the tab management works pretty well too. The only caveat is that any third party browser on iOS cannot use the Nitro Javascript engine, so the page rendering performance will not be as good as Safari.

A few I hadn't heard of are Cue, Slice and LucyPhone. Slice is making me sad though. Seeing how much money I've spent on things
