I just acquired an old mac ibook g3 and it has no airport card in it . It has Mac os x 10.3.9 in it cpu type PowerPc 750 (2.2)1  700mhz speed  cpul2 cache 512 kbmemory 384 mbbus speed 100 mhzboot rom version 4.5.2f2I would like to first get it on my wireless @ homeand second install linux in it preferably Ubuntu either as a second os or entirely linux . At the moment I have about 11.5 gigs open but I will slim it down as much as I can in order to install linux on itAny help or advice is greatly appreciated

A Google search for "linux on ppc" will return several disros designed to run on the PPC platform. If you can find an AirPort card for that model of iBook on Craigslist or Ebay, installation should be fairly easy. It installs just under the keyboard. Here's a video of the installation:
