After several days of Arch and Chakra journeys we now focus on setting up that other OS on all three deskies with the programs needed for the creative outlets
I've thoroughly enjoyed the experiences with Arch and Chakra and truly appreciate the invaluable assistance from Josh Josh hope I didn't overload you too much AS much as we have Ultimate 2.4 on the 4600 and Mint 8 now on the Quad - the IBM still rests uneasily in the psychie for some reason Hopeful the FRENZY of these last few days has not put too much of a strain on ATL The obsessive/Scorpio is more on an even keel right now having satisfied several urges so we will see where the future now leads us Cheers for Years Colin -------------------- |

It was no problem at all. Although, I am sorry I could not get it working for you. Maybe next time.
Thanks -------------------- |

Just to let you know nano is not just for Arch. Nano is a very powerful simple text editor that comes with most all distributions. In my opinion. it is actually one of the easiest cli text editors to use. I would suggest opening up nano by itself(blank doc) and playing around with it since you more than likely will run across it in time.
Nano is very useful if you ever have to edit a file without X running to troubleshoot something or just want to edit something while in a console. Here is a nice tutorial for nano to get you started: http://www.debianadmin.com/nano-editor-tutorials.html Thanks -------------------- |

Murphy's Stout was more to my liking and can NOT find it in Canada yet at least where we live Easy: just tell the good folks @Silver Fox Neighborhood Pub (or your nearest store) that they can get it via Heineken Canada Inc. Urmas -aye thirsty -------------------- ![]() |
