I'm not sure if this forum (or the members) "do" HJT logs or not.
I'm certainly not qualified to, but it would seem to me that you have a lot of probably unnecessary processes running, and your Java version could do with updating. Other than that, nothing leaps out.
The problem may possibly be more related to some incompatibility with the numbers of programs running than to malware.

We really don't have too many people here qualified to analyze HJT logs. It requires some training. Let me recommend you post your log to one of the following websites:

http://www.freedomlist.com/forum/index.php

http://aumha.net/

Be sure to follow their submission rules. The few remaining sites that work with HJT logs have particular locations to post your logs to.

Hi, JPS. My apology for the delay in responding. I've been multi-tasking and missed your post here. Please do not use the online analyzer. Log analysis requires research that an online tool cannot accomplish.

First, please update SunJava, following the instructions illustrated here: http://securitygarden.blogspot.com/2006/09...ava-update.html

Next, let's give MBAM a run. Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt
  • Please post contents of that file and a fresh HIjackThis log in your next reply.

Hello,

I noticed in your HijackThis log that it had entries for security products from AVG, McAfee, and CheckPoint (ZoneAlarm). Are you currently running programs from all three vendors at the same time on this computer? If so, then perhaps that might be a reason for the instability you are experiencing--sometimes different security programs "compete" with each other for resources which can cause issues with system stability.

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky
