Newly Found Malware Deliberately Avoids Government Networks

Quote

A newly discovered family of malware is being used to compromise Linux servers exposed to the internet. The good news for IT pros is that it doesn't appear to be targeting traditional commercial servers but is going after consumer devices.

Nothing to panic about but worth taking notice of. :breakfast:

"Do you begin to see, then, what kind of world we are creating? It is the exact opposite of the stupid hedonistic Utopias that the old reformers imagined. A world of fear and treachery and torment, a world of trampling and being trampled upon, a world which will grow not less but more merciless as it refines itself. Progress in our world will be progress toward more pain." -George Orwell, 1984

What a stupid, misguided and misleading comment. :angry2:

Don't worry, IT Pro! Your server is safe but everyone who connects to it with their personal devices will be compromised. Good thing "IT pros" don't have to worry about consumer devices.
