DeafBug
As I mentioned that I got a MBP and I am wondering if there is a preferred brand of DVDs for burning or whatnot with the Mac?The reason I ask is that with my PC having two different brand of DVD burners. One is old, regular DVD burner and the other is newer double layer DVD with lightscribe. I know the manufacture does recommend certain brands to do some burning. I am wondering if that is the case with MBP. I still have a bunch of Verbatim DVDs and several brands of CDs (which I am trying hard to get rid of to burn such things instead of tossing it out.)Thanks. I prefer Verbatims & Taiyo Yudens. Of the two, the latter is top quality. Verbatims costs much less and the quality is also excellent. I prefer to have them on-hand for everyday burning purposes primarily because of the good value. I've used Verbatim on both Mac and Windows platforms and really can't say I've noticed any difference at all.
