tahoejeff Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 i'm tring to help my daughter via phone. mac g4 was just moved across country. they couldn't connect to dsl at new location, so i searched and found that they had to uncheck ppoe since they are running the dsl through a router.after reboot, the default page loads in safari, so net connection is fine, but they cannot click in the address bar to type in it. also cannot click and type in a google search box. they can click a link on the personal address bar, but linked page will not open initially. if they then minimize the browser and bring it back up, the last clicked link is loaded.they do not have any other browsers loaded on this rig. any suggestions? google didn't help me.both mouse and keyboard seem to work ok with other apps. they have tried a reboot. i had them do a software update, but that didn't help any.i'm not positive, but pretty sure it's os 10.3.9 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
