Which brand of DVD media do you use?

As I mentioned that I got a MBP and I am wondering if there is a preferred brand of DVDs for burning or whatnot with the Mac?The reason I ask is that with my PC having two different brand of DVD burners. One is old, regular DVD burner and the other is newer double layer DVD with lightscribe. I know the manufacture does recommend certain brands to do some burning. I am wondering if that is the case with MBP. I still have a bunch of Verbatim DVDs and several brands of CDs (which I am trying hard to get rid of to burn such things instead of tossing it out.)Thanks.

I don't think it really matters whether you're a windows or a Mac user. I prefer Verbatims & Taiyo Yudens. Of the two, the latter is top quality. Verbatims costs much less and the quality is also excellent. I prefer to have them on-hand for everyday burning purposes primarily because of the good value. I've used Verbatim on both Mac and Windows platforms and really can't say I've noticed any difference at all. Edited by Tushman
