Tushman
I've got a friend (more like an acquaintance) who owns a MacBook Pro. She says she can log on just fine at a Sturbucks coffee shop (location_A). However, she cannot log on at Starbucks (location_. The two are less than 1/2 mile away. What gives? I have no trouble logging on wirelessly at either store. Is there such thing as a /flushdns equivalent on a Mac book?Any tips or suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem would be appreciated. Thanks. Edited August 14, 2009 by Tushman
Guest LilBambi
I use MainMenu for "flush DNS cache":Developer siteMainMenu at VersionTrackerI give both since depending upon the version of Mac OS X they are using, they might need an older version. Also, the most recent version is pay to play $20/trialware.Manual from command line:Tiger or earlier Mac OS X:lookupd -flushcacheLeopard (above command replaced in 2007 with):dscacheutil -flushcache
