Windows Update

Installing Win 7 on a laptop and I can't turn on update for other Microsoft products. When I click on the link in Windows Update, it just goes to a page that shows how to start Windows Update.

AFAIR it all comes down at the same link .

By default, Windows Update only has updates for the OS itself. But there it has a link to click that, normally take you to a web page where you click to authorize it to update other MS products. But that link is not working. Instead it is being re-directed here. Edited by lewmur

Hello,

It you start Windows Update by bringing up the Run dialog (WinKey+R) and entering "wuapp.exe" as the name of the program to run, does that make any difference? Or do you still get the same message?

Regards,
