Windows Secrets went to a subscription-only model last month. That's fine.

I receive email from them and rarely, 2 other people, this newsletter being 1 of them.

I responded to Windows Secret's "don't let this be the end of our relationship" link, and since then I get rude spams.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

It's Penton.com, and they went to a subscription-only model farther back than just two months. Your email addy? They'd sell your mother if they could.

I had to block penton because I got spam from them. I complained to the former editor, Tracey Capon (I might have spelled both names wrong) and never received a reply to my complaint.

I've been a paid subscriber to WindowsSecrets all the way back to when it was Brian's Buzz (Brian Livingston) and NEVER received spam until recently when the move was made to Penton. I'm disgusted with Penton and WindowsSecrets, which has gone downhill rapidly.

I gave it up when they went to paid subscription. Not sorry now that I did.
