Fellow members of SFNL forums, As many of you know, this forum is a close knit community of people from all over the world, united by our interest in computers and our concern for one another. Our members are very special people, who don't limit the help they offer each other to the electronic medium. This was wonderfully illustrated during a recent hurricane, when several of our members helped LilBambi rebuild a portion of her roof damaged in the storm. Most of you know Teacher (Julia), a very knowledgeable moderator in the All Things Linux forum and an active member of the SFNL forums. Her husband has just been diagnosed with type B Intestinal Lymphoma and is currently in the hospital. So I'm calling on all our members, regardless of religious belief, to direct your prayers, positive thoughts and good wishes to Julia and her husband during this trying time. At times like this, we all wish we could do more for each other. In this case, emotional support is all we can offer, so let's all offer as much of that as we are capable of. Another way we all can help those like Julia's husband, and so many others, is to become blood/bone marrow donors in our local communities.
