I do too.... Recently went on a short course *web design* where the use of the device was mandatory. Well the lectures were delivered at light speed .There was no time to make notes . Everything said was absorbed but leaked away just as fast . It wasn't until I downloaded the notes from a different college that I began to get to grips properly with the design concepts . So for everything there is a season . Time to listen and make notes . Later to practice on a device when the lecture is over.

I could never really get a handle on any programming concept until I did it "hands on" a few times.

Totally agree with the professor. People should be paying attention in class.

 

I get so tired of people constantly looking at their devices when they are spending time at restaurants, etc.

 

Some folks have told people to turn them off during lunch and put them in the middle of the table to keep people from using them while they eat.
