Why Linux will never be factor on the desktop

 

Do yourself a favor and stick with Linux servers. The desktop OS market is a two-horse race, and Linux was not invited to the party

PC World - Linux is awesome. It's a powerful, capable, flexible operating system with tremendous potential. But, it's never going to be a factor on the desktop, so don't even waste your time considering it.

I think I've read that article before. It seems like somebody writes it about once or twice a year.

 

My 2 desktops are doing just fine with Linux. I have a 3rd, but it's essentially headless.
