Guest LilBambi Posted June 7, 2003 Share Posted June 7, 2003 Never fear ... the Linux developers may be laid back in a lot of ways, and not 'centralized' like proprietary software companies, except in regard to their passion for developing.However, they have a strong community network that has done some amazing things over the course of time. I am highly impressed with the collective knowledge and intelligence of the Linux developers. The can mobilize when needed.You can bet that they are already going through their own code for their respective programs without even knowing if and/or where there may be any code that matches "some old UNIX code." I really do not believe they will take this sitting down.The Linux developers are resourceful and very innovative! Never underestimate them.
