zox
Mozilla folks released "Mozilla Branding".It looks like from now on Phoenix/Firebird should be called "Mozilla Browser" and Minotour/Thunderbird "Mozilla Mail" respectively.I guess they got tired of name debate so Firebird/Thunderbird combo is just a code name. The entire article you can find on Mozilla:http://www.mozilla.org/roadmap/branding.htmlAnd there is some discussion ongoing on Slashdot about it:http://slashdot.org/articles/03/04/26/1258...8205.shtml?tid=

Peachy
After reading the page I think this is a logical step. We all know it's Mozilla, and so does the world. Capitalize on the brand.
nlinecomputers
It makes perfect sense. Phoenix was a splinter group off of the orginal Mozilla project that made a faster browser. Mozilla finally gave up on Gecko and adopted Phoenix which brought them back into the fold.
